Refunds
flydubai does not offer a cash refund if you decide to cancel your flight.
However, if you decide to cancel your flight up to 24 hours prior to departure, for a cost of AED 100 per person per flight, flydubai will issue a voucher. This voucher can be used towards future travel with flydubai.
If you decide to cancel your flight less then 24 hours prior to departure, no voucher will be issued.
Any optional extras can be transferred to a new booking, or if the booking is cancelled, these can be refunded by voucher less the cancellation fee.

To receive a flydubai voucher, you must have a valid e-mail address to which the voucher can be sent. A personal identification number (PIN) will be sent to you with the voucher. You will need this PIN to claim the value of the voucher at a future date. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and cannot be extended or transferred.
To use your flydubai voucher, you must:
* have a valid PIN
* be the named individual on the voucher
* be a named traveller
Vouchers can be redeemed online at flydubai.com, through the call centre or one of flydubai's travel partners.

No cash refunds are offered by flydubai because these are time-consuming and expensive to process. If flydubai offered cash refunds, fares would have to rise to cover these processing costs.
Flight delays
If the delay is caused by flydubai, here’s what you can expect.
0 – 3 hours Wherever possible, you’ll be kept up-to-date, but no compensation will be offered.
3:01 – 6 hours flydubai will continue to keep you updated and flydubai will also issue a voucher for AED 50 per customer. This voucher is valid for 12 months and can be used against future travel with flydubai. You must have a valid e-mail address to receive a voucher.
6:01 hours and above or cancellation You can re-book on another flight to the same destination free of charge. Or if you prefer, you can cancel your booking and receive a voucher for the full value of the original booking and half the value of the base fare as a gesture of goodwill.
If you are denied travel
flydubai doesn’t overbook its flights. There’s only one passenger for every seat. However, if flydubai is responsible for you being denied boarding on a flight, you’ll be entitled to take the next available flight and you’ll receive a complimentary voucher for the value of the original fare excluding all taxes.
If you miss your flight
If you don’t make your flight for any reason, no refund or alternative travel can be offered by flydubai. |
