flydubai has ordered 54 Next-Generation 737-800 aircraft from Boeing. The single-aisle aircraft, with 189 economy class seats, has a flying range of four and a half hours. The airline has also ordered CFM56-7B engines from CFM International and blended winglets from Aviation Partners Boeing (APB).

This combination of engines and winglets means flydubal will be operating aircraft that are as kind to the environment as possible. With the winglets, flydubai’s 737s will consume less fuel and emit less noise. Put together with the reductions in emissions offered by the engines, flydubai’s 737s will be among the most environmentally-friendly aircraft flying today.
